Dr. Fulden Ulucan Karnak is a highly accomplished bioengineer with a diverse
academic background. She earned her B.Sc. in Bioengineering in 2012 and holds
two master's degrees: an M.Sc. in Biotechnology (2014) and an M.Sc. in Medical
Biochemistry (2024). Since 2014, she has collaborated closely with Prof. Akgol,
completing her Ph.D. in Advanced Biomedical Technologies in 2020. Currently, she is
a postdoctoral researcher at the Biorege Polymeric Nanosystems & AI Assisted
Applications Laboratory.
Dr. Ulucan Karnak's research is focused on the design of functional nanomaterials,
as well as their advanced characterization. Her research areas focus on biosensor
applications, separation technologies, drug delivery systems, and surface coatings.
She is also keenly interested in the molecular design and modeling of biomolecules.
Through her innovative and multidisciplinary approach, Dr. Ulucan Karnak is
dedicated to developing novel solutions for complex challenges in the healthcare and
biomedical fields.
