Our interdisciplinary team of researchers and students combines polymeric nanotechnology with AI-driven innovations to develop advanced solutions in biomolecule purification, bioseparation, and next-generation biosensing technologies.

Prof. Dr. Sinan Akgol

Director

Prof. Dr. Sinan Akgöl was born in İzmir, Turkey, in 1970. He received his Ph.D. degree from Hacettepe University in 2003. Between 2006 and 2021, he held several key administrative positions, including Head of Department and Vice Dean.

Dr. Emre Dokuzparmak

Research Scientist

Dr. Emre Dokuzparmak is a lecturer and researcher at the Department of Bioengineering, Ege University.

Esra Yasar

Msc Student

Esra Yaşar received her B.Sc. in Chemistry from Dokuz Eylül University and her M.Sc. in Biochemistry from Ege University.

Timucin Guner

PhD student

Timuçin Güner is currently pursuing his doctoral studies at the Department of Biochemistry, Ege University.

Asst. Prof. Emine Sezer

AI Research Specialist

Dr. Emine Sezer is a faculty member (Assistant Professor) at the Department of Computer Engineering, Ege University. She holds a B.Sc. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Dokuz Eylül University and both an M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from Ege University.

Dr. Berrin Özdil Bay

Research Scientist

Dr. Berrin Özdil Bay is a postdoctoral researcher specializing in cancer biology, cancer stem cells, and biophysical characterization techniques.

Hilal Ozcelik

PhD student

Hilal Özçelik is a Ph.D. candidate in Biochemistry at Ege University, specializing in polymer technologies, biosensors, nanotechnology, and biomedical applications.

Asst. Prof. Süleyman Selim Cinaroglu

Research Scientist

Süleyman Selim Cinaroğlu is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Bioengineering at Ege University.

Dr. Fulden Ulucan Kamak

PostDoc Researcher

Dr. Fulden Ulucan Karnak is a highly accomplished bioengineer with a diverse academic background. She earned her B.Sc. in Bioengineering in 2012 and holds two master's degrees

Julien Agyemang Gyamfi

PhD student

Julien Agyemang Gyamfi obtained his B.Sc. in Biochemistry from the University for Development Studies, Ghana, before pursuing his M.Sc. in Biochemistry at Anadolu University, Türkiye.
