The Team

Prof. Dr. Sinan Akgöl was born in İzmir, Turkey, in 1970. He received his Ph.D. degree from Hacettepe University in 2003. Between 2006 and 2021, he held several key administrative positions, including Head of Department and Vice Dean.

Dr. Fulden Ulucan Karnak is a highly accomplished bioengineer with a diverse academic background. She earned her B.Sc. in Bioengineering in 2012 and holds two master's degrees

İrem Nur Ceylan is an M.Sc. student at the Department of Computer Engineering, Ege University. She received her B.Sc. degree in Software Engineering from Yaşar University.

Dr. Emine Sezer is a faculty member (Assistant Professor) at the Department of Computer Engineering, Ege University. She holds a B.Sc. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Dokuz Eylül University and both an M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from Ege University.

Hilal Özçelik is a Ph.D. candidate in Biochemistry at Ege University, specializing in polymer technologies, biosensors, nanotechnology, and biomedical applications.

Berkay Yağız Eren is a senior undergraduate student at the Department of Computer Engineering, İzmir Institute of Technology (IZTECH). His research interests include machine learning, computer vision, and data-driven modeling in biomedical applications.

Dr. Emre Dokuzparmak is a lecturer and researcher at the Department of Bioengineering, Ege University.

Julien Agyemang Gyamfi obtained his B.Sc. in Biochemistry from the University for Development Studies, Ghana, before pursuing his M.Sc. in Biochemistry at Anadolu University, Türkiye.

İpek Koçhisarlı is an M.Sc. student at the Department of Computer Engineering, Ege University. After starting her academic path in Chemical Engineering at Izmir Institute of Technology, she transitioned to software engineering and earned her B.Sc. degree in Computer Software Engineering from Manisa Celal Bayar University.

Dr. Berrin Özdil Bay is a postdoctoral researcher specializing in cancer biology, cancer stem cells, and biophysical characterization techniques.

Nur Ceylin Çetin is an M.Sc. student at the Department of Computer Engineering, Ege University. She received her B.Sc. degree in Computer Engineering from Yaşar University.
