Julien Agyemang Gyamfi obtained his B.Sc. in Biochemistry from the University for Development Studies, Ghana, before pursuing his M.Sc. in Biochemistry at Anadolu University, Türkiye. His master’s thesis focused on investigating apoptosis in MCF-7 human breast cancer cells.
As a PhD student, Julien’s curiosity centers on the development and application of nanomaterials for cancer diagnosis and therapy, with a particular focus on nanostructure-cell interactions, targeted drug delivery, and biosensor technologies. He aims to contribute to the advancement of translational nanomedicine by integrating biochemical insights with innovative nanomaterial-based approaches.
Outside the lab, he enjoys cooking and spending time with friends.
