Timuçin Güner is currently pursuing his doctoral studies at the Department of Biochemistry, Ege University. He completed his undergraduate education in Chemistry at Abant İzzet Baysal University and subsequently obtained his master’s degree in Biochemistry at Ege University, focusing on molecular modeling and computational chemistry. Within the Biorege Laboratory, his research primarily centers on polymer chemistry, particularly the development of molecularly imprinted polymer (MIP)-based separation, purification, and sensor systems. He synthesizes novel polymeric structures, integrates them into sensor technologies, and explores artificial intelligence–assisted solutions. His research aims to contribute to scientific progress and societal benefit by developing sustainable and highly sensitive biosensor technologies. Beyond his academic pursuits, he enjoys hiking, photography, and traveling, which provide inspiration and balance to his research.
